THE 2011 TSOA NATIONAL RALLY PROGRAMME.

Saturday 15th October - Registration, Happy hour and welcome dinner at "The Silver Birch" Motel.

Sunday 16th October - Pride of Ownership on the lawns at "The Lady Nelson" Discovery Centre. Visit the Centre for a self-guided "Back in Time" Tour. Revisit the land from 200,000 years ago with an ancient sea & wetlands display, Giant creatures, a cave walk with a glass floor onto the geology room. The brig of "The Lady Nelson" tells of Lt. Grant's story of discovery. Lunch will be provided at "The Sale Yards" in preparation for the Autokhana. Alternative activities will be a trip to Nelson for a Glenelg River Cruise with a bus provided for those without a car or use your own car, or a Limestone Carving class.
Dinner will be at "The Barn" on the outskirts of Mt. Gambier.

Monday 17th October - Navigational Run to Casterton/Digby/Dartmoor/Nelson and onto lunch at the Victoria Hotel Port. MacDonnell. CRAYFISH can be arranged for an extra cost. Afternoon is free to visit Dingley Dell (Adam Lindsay Gordon's cottage), Light House and Maritime Museum etc. In Mt. Gambier visit the Blue Lake, Umpherston Sinkhole, Engelbrecht Cave etc.
Dinner is at your own expense tonight.

Tuesday 18th October - Drive to the fascinating Naracoorte Caves National Park (a world heritage area, covering 600 hectares of limestone ranges 10 km south of Naracoorte). Visit the Alexandra Cave and the Wonambi Fossil Centre and enter a recreated ancient world where Mega Fauna once roamed, through simulated forest and swampland. The afternoon is free to visit wineries in the Coonawarra area, Penola wood carvings and the Mary MacKillop Centre.
Dinner will be provided at the Southgate Motel.

Wednesday 19th October - Leave Mt. Gambier and travel to Victor Harbor via Princes & Southern Port Highways, through the Millicent Wind farm, National Trust Living History Museum, Woakwine Cutting, Beachport, Robe, Kingston, Meningie, across the Ferry at Wellington, Langhorne creek, Strathalbyn to the McCracken Country Club at Victor Harbor.
Dinner will be at McCracken with 'Happy Hour' and Gourmet BBQ in the Pavilion.

Thursday 20th October - Drive to Goolwa for a 1½ Hour trip on the Cockle Train. Hill Climb will be at Mt. Alma Road, Glacier Rock. Lunch will be provided. Non Hill Climb participants will have the afternoon free to wander through Goolwa, Port Elliot and Victor Harbor. A bus tour will be provided for partners of Hill climb participants.
Dinner will be at the Hotel Victor.

Friday 21st October - Brunch at 'McLarens on the Lake' in the Southern Vales, with an opportunity to drive through Sellicks, Myponga, Willunga and McLaren Vale and take in this fabulous wine region's hospitality.
The Presentation Dinner will be at McCracken Country Club.

Saturday 22nd October - Depart for home after breakfast. Optional Kangaroo Island Trip - Early departure to Cape Jervis to put cars on the Ferry for a tour to one of SA's Premier Tourist Destinations.
Note: Accommodation in Adelaide or Victor Harbor will have to be considered due to evening return to the mainland.
