Some recent TSOA happennings . . .

Sunday 26^th February – MSCA run to Virgara Winery saw 26 members participate in the run from Civic Park. Chicken and Salad was provided for lunch which everyone enjoyed. Congratulations to Neil Martin for receiving his best in class Trophy.

Sunday 5^th March – All British Day at Echunga Oval saw 22 Triumphs on display. The weather was unpredictable, and saw, sun, rain and wind – causing some damage to a couple of cars and marquees.

Wednesday 8^th March-Lunch at Junction Bar and Bistro, Anzac Highway. Thanks to Lawrie and Kaye Placing for organising this.

The MSCA Presentation Day at Virgara winery saw 28 members present and 15 cars and 1 bike on display.  The Chicken and salad lunch was well accepted, and everyone enjoyed the day.

March 5th will see the All-British Day at Echunga Oval. 20 cars on display for the club.  Thanks to Geoff Ellis for being our representative on the committee.

March 8^th – Informal Lunch – Junction Bar and Bistro, Morphettville. Table booked for Triumph Car club. 12.30pm start.  Bookings essential by 7^th March to Lawrie 0407286194.

April 2^nd – Breakfast Run – details to follow. (We need to organise a run early April due to Easter)

May 26^th – 28^th – Annual Weekender to the Riverland.  Still working on final details but put the date in your diary….15 rooms booked – seven taken already! See flyer below.

Thanks to Dean and Lisa for organising the after Christmas Run, which was attended by 24 people.  A great run, and the Charleston Hotel was lovely and the food was excellent.

The Informal meeting at the Clubrooms, saw some rocker cover racing, with Garry Buckton making his own car to race and blitzing the field! ….a good informal night.

The Ice Cream Run saw 25 people attend on a great summer’s night heading to Noonies for dinner, ice-creams, donuts, coffee and hot chips. 3 Stags, 2 TR4’s, 1 TR7 and 3 TR6’s enjoyed the run with a few modern cars as well enjoyed the sun set along the waterfront.

Australia Day was Open House at Lawrie and Kaye’s to close off the month, we are all looking forward to it.

The Next event planned is the MSCA Presentation Day Sunday 26^th February at Virgara Winery. We are planning a run from Civic Park to Virgara, at Angle Vale and the club will supply chicken and salad for lunch for those attending. We must have your RSVP for catering.

March will see the All-British Day at Echunga Oval.

Get well wishes go to Judy Long, who has been under the weather, Sue Smithson who managed to get Covid for Christmas, and anyone else who is not well, we send our best wishes too.

Socially Speaking for December
By the time you are reading this, the End of Year dinner will have been held. Many thanks to those
members who attended, and a huge thanks to Sue Gibson for organising the event. Another great night
enjoyed by all.
Upcoming events include the after Christmas Run, the Ice Cream run and the Australia Day Event at
Lawrie and Kaye’s place. Info below.
The January informal meeting will have the rocker cars racing, and people are asked to bring along their
toys for display/discussion on the night.
